what makes you say that nick?

 

what you say about the indicators etc. used to run 4 spots and 2 fogs with standard alternator and battery and never had issues. get the battery drop tested.

 

will do - thanks for the tip! just a quick update - fitted the new alternator, plugs, leads according to rrws diagram and the throttle cable - took her for a spin and she runs like clockwork.  thanks again lads, awesome help!

We don't use a timing light, we just move the dizzy the get it running and idling well,then set engine to 2000 rpm, move dizzy listening for peak rpm then back off a touch
