Good evening all,

 

I signed up a few days ago as my dad and I picked up a MINI project on Saturday. Was purchased from a friend who has now moved to Aus and it was just sat in a container at his dads work

 

The shell is in a pretty bad way and although it has had some repairs carried out they aren't the best!

 

At the minute we aren't sure which route to take with it. We are thinking of getting it dipped, has anyone any experience of this? Any advice on where to start with panel replacement as most of them need doing!

 

Any advice is much appreciated.

Brace the car, get it dipped if you can afford it. if not then then media blast.

 

Then once you get a clearer idea of what is what you can then decide where to go from there. Post up some pictures and we can help more.

Still need to have a look at the costs of dipping etc but I think it would be the best thing to do IMO.
