I picked up Mini magazine this morning from the newsagents and sat in the van before work thunbing through it and then relised that i could 'nt read it without my glasses on as its shrunk by an inch including the print font!! Although I did manage to see my car coming on to the finishing straight at Castle combe on the bottom right of page 28 in the Castle combe write up.

These magazines cost enough as it is without shrinking them.

I noticed that too. I was tempted to get one last week but horrified by the same thing plus being nearly a fiver. No thank you

MiniWorld has shrunk too......I think the reason given was it is to fit on the crowded magazine shelves in supermarkets and newsagents like WHSmiths but if other mags don't follow suit it is more likely a cost reduction as stated above. I think I would rather the two magazines combined together and kept to their original size!

I received my copy of Mini Magazine yesterday and my initial reaction was that it had shrunk. I compared the December issue with the November issue and they are the same size. Compared with the November 2016 issue (the earliest I had to hand) they are smaller. The question is, at what point did they shrink?

Both Mini magazines changed to new 'compact' size in April 2017, MW editorial says to fight for space against other mags in increasingly smaller magazine displays in newsagents.

Not only has the size shrunk but the quality of the published content is reduced too - Mini Magazine now seems to like featuring just cheque book restorations or promoting people who they have an association with.... one of this months feature cars seems to be a blatant promotion for a restoration company.

Nothing of value anymore, doubt they will last another 12 months, which is shame because they used to be a good read.

as both magazines seem to be now under the same ownership i really cant see why they don't just merge into one magazine that might actually be worth the price they ask !!??

Pretty much all the Kelsey publications are getting the small treatment. More of an issue For me is the spine which is damaged every time it drops through the door

Seems a shame the editor Jeff is off to work for the MG owners club.
