Yes, the PCV is the little device on top of the can. Off a Jeep apparently and cost about a fiver. I think I'll be going back to the hose from the can straight to carb stub when I get round to it.

Panky, next time you're running the engine with bonnet up try taking the oil filler cap off, see what difference this makes. Then if it is still running place the flat of your hand on the oil filler hole to seal it off and see what vacuum it pulls.

It pulls like a goodun, but it did with the old circuit when revved, no nasty fumes anywhere. It's a cracking engine and I modified it with a 12G940 head, alloy inlet manifold and HS4 with a Midget exhaust manifold. It goes very well for a minor :D
