So after going to a LOT of shows this year, and seeing some incredible cars, I've often wished I could see progress photos that lead to the finished car. This got me thinking, I'm quite proud of how much work I've done myself on my own car, and I would like some way of displaying a few build photos at shows just to kind of show what went on behind the scenes.

 

I've seen a few people use photo albums balanced on the car, but I'd like a slightly more subtle solution. The best one I've seen so far is using an Ipad to create a slideshow and placing it in the windscreen, however I'm far too poor to buy an Ipad just for this purpose lol. I had considered those digital photo frames, but they all seem to need a DC plug to work which is a shame. What have others done? Any Interesting ideas I may not have thought of?

build a website and link a QC linked to it. then you just need a sticker somewhere. just make sure you dont ID your location.

Old ipad originals are super cheap now. The original iPad can be bought for under £30. Get one with minor dents and scratches for around £20.
Slow as hell online but great to display your build photos on your dash?

In fact Ive just looked and Ive got an old ipad clone android tablet. Still works great and has a charger.
I say works great... its android 4.2 or 2.4, something slow and no good for Internet AT ALL.

Great to chuck your pics on from any phone or usb etc and run then on loop.

Yours for £3.50 postage?

Can confirm it's a great bit of kit! As if I wasn't already smug enough about my great idea, I then got even smugger when I ordered a bag of double sided sucker things off ebay which hold it to the windscreen perfectly!

I built this for an iPad pro

 

You can set the screen to ignore screen touches

The home button is hidden behind the surround

Its locked in place with 2 allen studs
