If you do the car first it's easier to hide the join in the gutter.

As Ethel has said, car first then the roof. This is how my lads mini was done.

I've always done mine the other way around, roof first then body. Mine have always been mk3's so no plastic gutter trim to hide joint.
Join has had to be on the top edge of the gutter.

Depends how good your masking is, it would be a shame to make a real good job of the body paintwork, mask it up and then paint the roof last to find it has crept through a gap.

Whatever you feel comfortable with.

Roof then body for me, paint inside the gutter and have the colour change at the fine edge of the gutter, looks best that way (obviously IMO)

My paint shop is painting the whole car white including the roof then when it's hardened they will paint the roof black.........Unless I change my mind and keep it all white!

Body than roof for me. I found it easier to mask the outside of the gutter rather than the inside.
