Just a taster of my next long term project which was last taxed in 1995.

 

Is it too far gone? Quite possibly but we will try to save her

 

First thing will be to brace the shell before trying to move from my mates driveway.......

If youve got the time, money and its still got the vin number then yeah why not.


Actually just read that the Vins a requirement after 1980 so thats alright.

It has the vin and just waiting for the v5 to come. Going to be a lot of work but I'm in no rush now my saloons nearly finished I can at least do some shoes and not have to take my bini s anymore. 😀✌

No real progress yet as still haven't braced it to move it yet till I fin8sh my city e. I do however now have the v5 so that's a start 😀✌

Back in august I finally got some bracing welded in the estate and got it moved round to my garage

Finally leaving my mates driveway from where we estimate its been sat at least five years and he pulled it out of some brambles when he got it

As you can see theres vast amount of rust. 

My plan is to fit toe and heal boards and half floors first to try and get a bit of strength back into it

I'm going to leave the rear of the subframe attached to keep alignment while fitting the healboard as I know them rear bolts are going to snap as soon as I touch them and ultimately that panel will have to be changed too.
