Does anyone know if a pedal box makes the cultch smoother or less heavy?

you speak in rhymes.

 

a pedal box will do nothing. the piston sizes that you opt for will have a difference.

 

the pedal boxes. dont go modifying the pedals on a standard box as you will come up against some geometry problems.

 

then there are 100s of other boxes that may make things better or worse. do some measuring.

?? If it didn't have a pedal box there'd be nowhere for the pedal to swing from? Are you meaning an aftermarket type pedal box assembly?

If your clutch is heavy/stiff try looking at the pedal pin through both pedals to see if it's seized?
