I have read all the other posts and many of them seem to be older posts, so I am asking my question on connections.
I am taking my 92 1275 engine out of a Mayfair and putting it in a 84 Jiffy Truck and I wont need all these canister hoses. If I disconnect the carb pipe can I just make up a vent pipe and route it over the side of the engine and out below the car? Same as the carb float bowl vent pipe on older models.

You will need to make a new pipe for each of the crank Case breathers too, then just route the carb breather and overflow away from the exhaust
