How about these. They are really low when not jacked up.

Could you possibly get some under the rear wheels and lift them equally with the front to have the car up on the front and rear? What make are yours?

Yep, it shows this in the link

Be a bit expensive though and I think you would struggle to get them under the sills on a Mini to use all four. You could drive onto a pair on the front then jack the rear up on stands though.

I use them sometimes as 'low rise ramps', without actually pumping them up, on my other vehicles. They give just enough height for many jobs.

Ooooft that is way more expensive than I thought they'd be! Looks like a good bit of kit though.

There's a pair the same on there for £95, shame they don't make them with the ramp part removable to give better access underneath the car - it does get in the way a bit with that type. On mine the ramp hinges upwards as part of the lift so doesn't get in the way too much/

I've considered these in the past but the front bumper on most cars seem to catch on regular ramps because of the angle and these would have the same issue, I know you can get extensions for them which would probably help a lot but I just don't think I'd get use out of this type because of the extra hassle and I actually really dislike driving up them.

This jack lifts to 855mm which is the one of the highest I've seen, most of the high lift trolley jacks I've seen go to about 500mm but it's only 1.5 ton and I wasn't overly impressed was the 2 tonne jack I got off sgs before but it was only a cheap jack so can't complain. Good look for deals during black friday and hopefully find a decent jack then.

These look very good!

Not too bad in terms of price. I wonder how useful they are?

Ordered the 3 ton low profile jack off sgs as they're having a black friday sale and didn't think the price was bad.

Have been looking into different solutions, cant really find the "perfect solution"

These seem decent, but not ideal to use on a minis sills, I guess you can use it down the middle of the car and add pads for the subframe.

funnily enough I was looking at something like those QuickJacks the other day. Very interesting. Why wouldn't they be suitable for Mini sills? I thought you put the car on rubber blocks which should protect them?

the sills are not really suitable to support the car. where those would rest is just a bent bit of sheet. no real strength.

I am sure if you lay them down the middle of the car you could find suitable positions on the subframes for rubber pads.
