Hi all, 

 

I've been tinkering with a MPI mini and carried out some work recently, i have a few questions... 

 

1. how far should the heater cable come out when fully pulled

2. Heater only works on speed one nothing on two. any suggestions, the owner says that it worked before and having not checked i must assume that this is correct. are the speeds fused or maybe wires went back on in the wrong order? 

 

Any help is much appreciated.

It's the same motor, position 1 (slow) is via a resistor. If that works it can only be the switch or broken wiring.
