After a long time of rest I replaced the fuel pump of my 1300 single carb classic 35.
The problem I am having is a stuttering engine.
It starts ok (used to be a bit better) runs rough when cold, and keeps on asking for high revs ,even to run properly. Even then it tends to stutter.
Sparks are ok , not greasy.
I smell some gas inside ...
Is there a fuel filter to clean? Tank was emptied and refilled..
Could it be the points?
Please advice dear friends!
TThanks!

Ps I do not know if the engine reaches correct operating temp, gauge indicator does not mount more than 15%
