Just fitted the above kit, the ECU has been back to SC to have a firmware update and a new SPi cooper map installed...
Fitted the kit, exactly as described, turned ignition to position 2.
Fuel pump starts, as normal.
Starter relay is working.
The main relay inside the black box just keeps clicking on and off, constantly..
I know it's that one because the yellow lambda relay is clicking at the same rate..
Anyone have this kit fitted? And could shed a little light as to why it's happening..
Thabkyou.

When it's plugged into the supplied adaptor harness then into the loom it isn't powering up correctly and won't communicate with SXTune..
As this kit came from my fathers 998 I had the old 5 port loom, plugged ECU in, gave it power and it connected to SXTune straight away.
Interrogating the ECU, it has Spi Cooper map and firmware installed.
Specialist components updated it last week along with supplying the necessary conversion parts for an Spi....
All I can think of at this stage is maybe the adaptor harness wiring is at fault, maybe a couple of wires misplaced in the plug..
It should send a priming pulse to the pump then close main relay, instead it's pulsing the main relay and constantly running the pump..
