Looks very unprofessional of Mike Brewer. Anyone fancy a sour grape?

I never liked Mike Brewer - he over-rates himself - typical car salesman

Ed China was a more pleasant person

I doubt Brewers new shed monkey will do much more than ED after a while

all the UK car TV shows seem too scripted & fake

I've heard some of the american ones are better & some much worse

still they are all better than Bernie Finemessyougotmein & chums - that bloke is a tw&t

Mike Brewer was always the weak one of the two and I watched the show inspite of him not because, Ant Anstead was really good on the For the love of cars so hopefully he an save the show.

Saw this comment posted below the latest Mike Brewer video......

From Edd China on twitter, in response to this video being posted to him: “Oh dear, he’s published so many different ‘truths’ by now that I don’t suppose even he knows what’s real anymore. I do feel sorry for him.” (obviously hurt by the comment but always a gentleman)

Better that, then getting into a slagging match i guess.

I do get the impression that Ed China would just walk away shaking his head

Ed enjoys playing with cars

Mike Brewer enjoys talking abut himself - typical sales man

Many (many) moons ago I was on an episode of WD and we were with them for 3 days. (All for 1 minute 38 seconds worth of airtime I hasten to add! O_O ) and they were exactly how they seem on telly. Edd was very pleasant and easy to talk to and clearly has a genuine interest in all things cars and mike is really a second hand car salesman and comes accross like one. I dont dislike brewer, he has a persona which has served him well but I wouldn't bother going for a pint with him, edd on the other hand is great company but that probably doesnt sell tv programmes. I do get the feeling though that edd should have got something else sorted out before he jumped.

Yes. Antstead is very good IMHO. Dare I say it but he is more watchable than China and his turbo bits where interesting. Not sure about harping on so much about the originality of the cosworth and then spending 10 k on making it the opposite to sell back to the original vendor. Not buying that tv ******* in my view. The programme itself was good and focused but it’s now just another yank car show only difference is the presenters are British. The charm of wheeler dealers is that it was quintessentially English and that’s now clearly gone for ever.

That's a real shame, something I suspected would happen.
Have recorded it and will watch tomorrow

I did enjoy it and I liked ant as I have in other shows, I was also sceptical about the 3 spoiler tail as it wasnt done on the Sierra but it didnt look bad once done.
Over all, wheeler dealers has changed but I still enjoy the show and will keep watching.
Oh but its not a patch on the grand tour which I am really enjoying.
