My first Mini was in 1982. A 1976 yellow 850. I drove it for a year and learned a lot. After a year my first new car was in 1983. A 1000 city. I drove that for a while when the 25 was announced and i really wanted that. What a disaster. it never was reliable and after it was totaled i got a Toyota. Now after 30 years i bought a 1993 Cooper as a project car and love it. I have more project cars (a XKR jaguar and a XJ6C Jaguar) but this one is in my home garage a can ticker with it every evening for a few minuted.
