It is only really worth it if you need to regularly compress the rubber cone springs.

or set corner weights or adjust ride height.

 

i just took them out when i needed to do anything.

Quite right. But Hi-Lo's let you do this without compressing the rubber spring cones.

Might be good for a rally car when the suspension might need fast attention at a service point during an event.

Sorry - been working and not caught up with my own topic

I was hoping to use the old school Allen key way of adjusting hilos. I found it more convenient than spanners.

I may just bite the bullet and just raise the ride height permanently rather than just when I'm in speed bump areas using 'new' type hilos. Weight is not an issue. Just wanted the turbo mini to run at the height is was meant to on most journeys
