Car is getting ready to go for paint and I need to get the paint of the seam strips that go down sides of car at front and rear. I have tried nitromors and to be honest, it seems useless. On further reading of instructions, in very small print it states unsuitable for car paint 🙄
The car has previously had a dodgy respray and so there are a couple of layers of paint.
I also want to strip paint of door and boot hinges.
Whats the best way of getting these down to bare metal?

I just used p80 paper on the seam strips and just scraped and wire brushed then sanded the hinges.
Must less hassle than chemical stripping

Yes evil stuff. Screwfix own brand no nonsense also does the trick. Or Just burn it off with a lamp
