Just wondering if someone can help I have purchased a Koso speedo which come with the adapter for mini gearbox . I'm struggling a bit with the wiring as per picture attached which I have circled the ignition switch which I require some assistance with please .

 

The white ignition live cable from mini wiring (ignition live ) does this go into the midway connector with the brown wire from new speedo which is labelled as DC 12v ignition switch ?

 

And with the red positive 12v cable from new speedo does this connect to mid way connector  with a feed from battery which I have already run through car with an inline fuse ?

 

 

Could someone also explain how two further cable run from the mid way connectors' to the ignition switch ?  or is the above correct .

my mini is a 1992 with an original 2 clock speedo and below is link to new speedo .

I used this to help me wire mine up, he breaks down the colours so you know which ones to use but you gotta kinda use the Haines manual to also tell you which colours are for the mini
