Having had a change of heart on plans to rebuild my Rover Cooper 1275 engine (from a 1991 carb cooper) is for sale. It ran very pull when removed, holding great oil pressure. Had covered 65k miles. It was pulled as the gearbox occasionally popped out of second on the over run but no other issues. It's been covered in a garage and turned over regularly by hand. No ancillaries are supplied, and the sale is for the short engine and attached gear box only (ie, no cylinder head).

I'll sort some photos over the weekend.

I also have a very nice stage 2/3 head with freshly cut 3 angle valve seats I'll be listing, high compression 1275 pistons on rods, a minispares evolution 1 camshaft, clutch, flywheel and all sorts of other bits including a bare 12G295 head that I'll be listing separately.

God dammit, I would buy (and the head too!) this but I live in Inverness.

I'll get into garage tomorrow and get some pics. The 12G940 head is 36/29, is well ported and flowed, tidied up chambers, then given a once over by Brett Simms who did the seats - its not been fitted since so essentially its an unfitted refurbed head.
