That one would appear to be a bargain. If you look below the price you'll see the selling price is trending at £48.13.

I've seen them go for more than that! If you just want the look, you can get repro ones from young retro motor club. They used to sell them individually but dont seem to be atm!

Seriously, its a bloody air freshener for Petes sake. "Its the look" Whatever!!!! spend your money on something needed for your car, not something thats takes you back in time.

It'll be dried up. Used to sell them back in the late '60's and some were dried up then.

I remember seeing one go on eBay for hundreds a few months back.

I remember my Mum buying them in a pound shop when I was a kid

Why would you want an air freshener in a classic car anyway?

It's just not right if it doesn't smell of cigars, leather and old engine old.

Eau de Damp dog is the main smell

mixed with a bit of Iron Oxide

possibly a bit of Ethylene glycol

I found one of these in mum's desk the other day, unused and in it's original packaging, and thought about putting it on ebay. Looks like that's exactly what I will be doing after Xmas. Unless this is just a silly season thing?!

If you look at sold prices you can get them for less than a tenner. But there will always be dreamers on eBay - and people willing to pay whatever!
