Totally agree.  But just like prep and ready, and many other rust killers im sure deox gel is just a solution that contains phosphoric acid, just at a consumer concentration.  Ill remove part of my previous post, but its nothing that gcse chemistry wont teach you.

Leave your post as it is Andy, just highlighting the recent attacks and being able to source neat Acid. Its probably easier than i know, just something to think about.
