Well I spontaneously bought 2 minis this afternoon (unseen).
Deposit paid and i Will collect them on Wednesday.
The first is a 1970 with a 1275 and hydraulastic suspension, if it turn out to be a GT then it is a bonus. I really have no idea about the nuances of Clubmans
The other car is sold as a spares car, it is a round nose with either a 998 or 1098 engine, It runs and drives but is said to have a rusted floor pan.
Not really sure what the plans are. I have been looking for a project after finishing of my k1100 headed "spi". These came up for sale at a good price, and I couldn't help myself.
If I am honest, I am not a huge fan of the clubman front, maybe i grow to love it?
If it turns out to be a GT then my plans may change or I sell it on.
But my initial plans are that it will not be an a-series and dare I even say it, might not even be a clubman front 
. Don't hate.
Or maybe the round nose turns out to be ok and that becomes the project.
