Is there ever an issue with the jets on the webers freezing up on these set ups?

I never had a problem on mine when I had Webers but I never drove it very often in freezing temperatures.

That looks the business!  I find it quite amusing how 'empty' it looks behind the engine with a 7 or 8 port.
I fancy doing this one day, but in a pick up so injection will be a must as getting to the dizzy would be a nightmare!

It is amusing because nearly everyone immediately looks down the back of the engine to see what appears to be missing before they look at the rest of the set up.

Just wondering if these lovely looking things have issues being stuck out there in the wind as it were. Remember having single carb cars that would easily freeze if the hot air feed was missing, and the crossflow mini heads don't look like they have much of a hot air feed!
