Hi guys, looking at buying my friends SPI Cooper in mint condition its a 1275 SPI i believe from the reg date.
Af far as im aware. Everything is stock in the engine bay however i have seen reference to a mini speed "stage 2" kit. So maybe a new head and exhaust ?. I have no pictures of it properly as i dont want in insult my friend getting a second opinion on price. Everyone can agree their pride and joy is priceless or atleast worth more than it may be.
Unknown mileage so im really asking for ballpark figures.
Its his pride and joy and lives in a garage only taken out for shows or mini events. From what i remember there is NO rust. Sils are good, A panels good, scuttle good, foot wells solid under headlights no bubbles and seam visible. Interior is mint everything clean and perfect. Paint is floor-less ( uses his clay bar ). Everything is sound on it. Believe its ran weekly / bi weekly as it sits in the garage alot of the time.
If you know the owner, i ask you dont mention this as i dont want him to feel insulted or myself to have competition buying it. ( Sounds bad but if you knew why i was buying it you'd want me to be the owner Happy to explain over PM.)
