Morning All.

Wondered if anyone had one of these in the South East. I'm in Maidstone, Kent and would be interested to go for (be taken on) a drive in one of these to see how they fare over the standard A series, I know they're obviously going to be a completely different beast. There are few videos of them on Youtube, but if anyone had one, I'd be interested to meet up and have a look round one in person.

Regards, H

I am not local. I can say that twin cam conversion totally transformed my car. I used to think it was nippy (standard SPi cooper), but now it is quick. Not quick in terms of modern quick cars.

The power delivery is smooth.

It is the low down torque that really makes the biggest difference, Pulls really hard from 1500rpm

Minijosh92 was building one, I don#'t think it's finished yet though.

Yes I know Josh, he's a friend of mine.

He hasn't finished it yet, despite much nagging and prodding.  O_O

I say 'standard' A series, mine just tipped the 100bhp at the flywheel on the rollers, so I'd be looking to try for 150bhp K1200 build. Appreciate not everyone will have that, but would be interesting to have a ride in one all the same.
