Hi there,
Just looking for some advice are all 1275 6232 cranks the same? Ive just got a new crank for my engine and its come from an mpi engine, the only difference I can physically see is on top of the crank webs it hasnt got the corners fully cut away, basically will it still be okay to use in a 1275 A+

Thanks in advance

It seems that it will fit all 1275cc motors except the early "S" with the different size journals.

Minispares describe it as:- "The A-Plus crank has fillet-radius journals and 1.75" wide rod journals. Suitable for 1275cc Minis, Austin Americas and Mini Metros."

If they say it suits all of those variants then it's probably fine. I'm just slightly thinking that the MPI  doesn't have a distributor drive shaft running across the engine so I'd be checking that all's well in that area if you are using a distributor
