I have had a balancer disintegrate, and I think it did give an intermittent noise that I thought was something more serious.

Thanks everyone for the helpful reply’s so far!!
I’ve been really busy with work recently so haven’t been able to take a video.
I have just gone out and started her up and taken a video but it’s purely for the sound as it’s pretty dark. I will try and get a decent video tomorrow lunch time and post that up.

I haven’t used the mini much up until this week, but the knocking is still there. I don’t suppose anyone is around the Catterick Garrison area, darlington, northallerton or surrounding areas that would be a gem and would like to meet up to give me a bit of an insight into the knock. Either I come to you or vice Versa?

The next step would be to try and take it to a specialist garage. :/
