Have read a bit now on the virtues of weld through primers such as Bilt Hambers Etch Weld I plan on using this between any plug welded seams, I have also had a look at their zinc coating Electrox would this have similar weld through property's to Etch Weld or is it a big no no?

From an health point of view I understand  there may be an issue with the zinc vaporising locally with the heat from welding so good ventilation is a must and will be provided.

any advise welcome

I used zinc based weld through primer and just wore a mask while welding

Thanks for the reply's, and sorry for the late response on my part. Will be doing a bit of experimenting with the Electrox if it works ok I feel it maybe a better option than a standard weld through primer.
