Must be, the bottom fuse should be fed from the lighting switch on connection 7 (bottom left), dash lights and side lights on connection 8 (bottom right).

Just found out my rear lights ahs number plate lights assent working as well. Some guy got out his car and told me while sat at some lights on the way home. So thanks gazza, sounds like a fuse and/or dodgy connection. And thanks everyone else for suggestions! Sets me off on fixing the problem

if you have the 4 fuse block it should be the third one down to test this just swap over the bottom fuse and try it :)
It's not the 3rd it's the bottom one, I said to check it in post #3 lol.

mine must be swapped around :P radio and cigarette lighter is the 4th one down on mine and lights are the third xD

Oh and the lighter, radio, anything switched on with the first click of the key shouldn't be there, that should be the top fuse.

So checked my fuse box earlier today... found 2 separate fuses melted. Managed to get one out but the other has actually melted to the fusebox. Took a different fuse out to test the one i could and now my front sidelights don't work! Think i have abit if a wiring problem lol

Probably worth buying a new fuse box and cleaning everything up, put a little smear of Vaseline over it all after and you'll be golden.

Got a fuse box coming today from minispares. I think it's an aftermarket fuse box that's in the car now as it treasure blade type fuses and not the round ones

You'll be a wizz with wiring once you've swapped it. Make sure it's all in the right order to the Haynes manual as fault finding is difficult if it's jumbled up!

Hmmm... without checking them all out I suspect they will all be jumbled up anyway!. I might spend the time in testing them all to find out what they are and put them in the order they should be.
Thanks peeps for the HELP!
