I've been avoiding this job for over two years - I have Newton commercial moulded carpets with felt underlay on the floor.
I'm not sure whether to use the supplied felt under the crossmember carpet or just glue it in place direct to the metal. The join at the front of the crossmember to the front carpet is problematic because the felt lifts the carpet up over the tunnel - how have people joined the carpets here?

i think it looks better without this piece. gives a nice contrast  and makes it a lot easer to remove the seat.

Looks really good.

Looks like you've taken a lot of time and effort with that and it shows. The carpet looks far better than the factory original in mine.

What brand is the silver sound deadening and did you manage each footwell as a single piece?
