Ill post the pic of my new seats when they arrive.
PS they came with the rear seat as well. Has anyone tried to fit a rear MINI seat into a Mini?

The search function is your friend.

Yes, thank you. I always search beforehand. In this case, for days. It is clunky and doesn't often yield any results. Sorry.

Do it through google, much easier!
This Google (use the advance search function) usually works better than most Forum search tools.

There are many different ways to mount the seats. Do you have any local engineering regulations that you need to pass?
If the new seats tilt and slide on the MINI rails (to get someone in the backseat) you could consider mounting both ends to the floor with an additional crossmember welded into the floor.
Minispares etc sell the Cobra subframes if you want to keep the factory tilting. You'd need to make an adapter to go from the Cobra pattern to the MINI seats

Thanks for the reply! I got the seats because they tilt and slide, then remember where they were at when you replace them. I'm all about trying to keep that functionality because any modern seats might be too tall to tilt in the style of the original seats for rear access.
I don't think there are any regulations I need to pass since it's older than 25 years old, although in order to pass inspection I'm sure they just have to be secure.
My hope is that putting the original rails over the crosspiece will not make them feel too high. I know there was someone on the forum who said the seats were too high up. I don't want to sacrifice stability of the car, but if there was a way to notch the rails into the crossmember and keep structural integrity, I'd be up for trying.

I'd just put them in the car first and see how they fit. Get a couple of bits of wood under the back to get them level and see what the height is like. Most modern seats will have height adjustment on the base too.
One simple frame I've seen is at the bottom of this page. There is a cross bar that bolts to the front two rails and two mounts that go to the standard seat brackets.

And watch out for the side airbags if they have them fitted. You don't want them accidentally going off.
