Hi Rich, any update on this? I found your “Let’s talk about Beige” topic as I was looking up what colour mine is. I want to see yours in it’s final colour! Still going for beige???

Thanks for asking! The shell is all finished, just waiting paint (hopefully in the next week or two). I was really tempted with El paso beige or Antelope but in the end I went for Smoke Grey, Old English White roof. You can see some of the smoke grey on the pics above, mixed in with the raptor coating for inside the boot, underside, engine bay etc.

Ah shame you’re not going for beige but smoke grey is a gorgeous colour! Look forward to seeing more’

This might work:

https://www.martrim....hion-piping.php

or

https://www.ebay.co....ar=441440006141

Seems to be available in 3,4,5,6 & 7mm. You can figure from the gaps what would be best for you.

I would recommend a fabric covered one. A rubber one will, probably, squeak like a door in a horror movie!

A few more coats to do yet, and the white roof but I'm hoping to have it back next week.
