I have my homemade rollover jig for sale as I have now finished my two projects, it is basically 2 frames with a scaffold pole, brackets for the holes in shell, hence only suitable for ealier cars without modification. It also has a multi hole disc to allow it to be locked in a number of positions. Looking for about £70

Will this work for a Riley Elf? And will it be strong enough for the car with wheels and subframes still attached? It won't have the engine in of course but because of the Hydrolastic suspension I don't really want to remove all of that and the subframes.  It would be great for treating the underside and fitting new pipes etc though!

Many thanks, regards,

Bob

I have a similar system that I use on my Riley. The scaffold poles needs to be longer, obviously. Personally having taken the subframes & running gear off mine, and realising how heavy it all is, I wouldn't put my car on the jig with them on.

I am unsure about using it with subframes as I have only used it on a bare shell, I have got inside the car myself when it’s correct way up on the spit and it didn’t fall over, the pole is probably long enough but would need a hole to locate the plate in correct place, I wouldn’t use it with A complete car though, not because I don’t think it’s strong enough but I doubt the location in shell would be good enough without getting damaged,
