I was given a full roll of the deck chair style striped material that was fitted to the Mini 1275GT. I have made some tentative enquiries about re-foaming the back of the material (I was told it could be done) and of course having new covers made for the seats. Has anyone had any experience of this and would you be prepared to recommend someone to undertake this work?
As you can see from the link I have had this for 5 years now and it has been dry stored.

Thanks
Good morning,
We can certainly use the material to make seat covers for you.
For a full set of seat covers (non-reclining fronts & a standard back seat) you would be looking at around £250 (+P&P), we would need to look into matching the tan leatherette for the borders though (which means it could work out a little more expensive, depending on the leatherette match).
Plus, it looks like there is a lot more than one interiors worth on that roll, so we could certainly sort out some sort of group discount for multiple seat cover kits (if anyone else was interested).
Drop us a call (01782 579 080) or an email ([email protected]) if you are interested and we can start to get the ball rolling.
Regards,
