Hi Guys,

My name is Darragh. I live in Ireland and I'm an 18 year old college student. I joined this site when I was restoring my last mini and had intended on starting a thread but didn't in the end. I said I would with this one though. This is a mini my Dad bought of me. The story is my dad had mini's when i was younger and then ended up selling them when we took in and out 3 engines in one mini in one day lol. I never lost the love for minis and deep down he regretted selling them. So anyway he loves my mini and had been on about buying one for awhile and I decided that this one would suit him and a bit of a chat we came to an agreement. He hates welding and bodywork and I am quite the opposite so I set at it for a couple days. He wants to have it ready for a show called mini magic on july 15th so I need to get the finger out! Anyway here is a few pictures of progress so far I will put up the others I have. Should have another update this weekend

Hi,

Thanks. When making a topic it is more for me to look back on progress I've made on the car. I like people to see my work whether it is good or bad, at least I'm giving it a go. If they comment great if not I'm not pushed.

Hi guys,

well it was a chilly one today here in Ireland. Here is a few pics of what I got upto today. I'm thinking of doing the drivers side door skin tomorrow all going well. Then I won't be at it til next week, which then I hope to get the drivers wing and a-panel on.

Hi Guys,
Well today saw the rest of the front going on. The non genuine scuttle corner wasn't even near right to had to chop her up and fix that. Other than that it all went smoothly enough. Here are some pictures:
