I will admit, its quite overpriced....

No doubting its character, period mods and patina to a degree but it really needs a pair of wings replaced which then comes down to paintwork decisions. Nice reg no, albeit its a 1960 rather than a '59. Price is silly, but hard to say what its really worth.
About to reinsure my '63 Mk1 and was thinking its value for agreed value insurance would be around the £12k mark? (It's restored in great order, not concours)

Just a quick look at this, the two front wings around the headlights look like they are full of filler, they look to sharp and don't have the correct radius on them.
It has been painted some time as there is paint over the door catches.

It's a free market and let the buyers and sellers set the price for anything that's been bought and sold.
All too often I've seen loads of stuff on ebay, which was quite OK, being talked down on various social media and when it's looked in to, the ring leaders in these discussions often have some personal grudge against the item being sold or the seller, with the result being that the item doesn't sell, or the true market value is never realised. I'm couldn't count how many times I've seen this happen. In a few cases, one of the knocker's ends up buying the item only to sell it again a few months later - without criticism - and profit from the overall experience. That's just wrong.
I just don't think it right to openly criticize someone else's items for sale. If you want it and the price suits you, buy it. If you want it and you feel it's over priced, keep walking. If you're only kicking tyres, then really, you're not in the market at all.

All i wanted was opinions.
I'm not wanting to be a smarty pants at all with my response to this, but that is a very tricky area
I suggest you (or anyone) interested in buying, do your own private research and then if you're still interested or want to make a seller an offer, you should then be well armed to do so and on your own terms and not clouded by the opinions of 10 or 20 other people.
Sometimes a buyer just wants what ever and will pay a bit above market value - or rather, what everyone thinks is market value - for the item, but may also not want everyone to know what transpired in a private deal.
All too often I've seen the values of cars in particular driven both up and down, by loads of opinions, many misinformed, some not even knowing, on platforms like these. I'm sorry, but I don't feel it the place of a forum the size and influence of this one to steer the market place - justly or unjustly - in any way.

i have absolutely no interest in buying this mini and have no connection to this mini, i was after some "Mini Chat". my mistake for thinking i could get that in Mini chat.
had someone come on and said "yes, its a 1960 will all the original features of the design and there are less than 500 still around and that's actually a fair price" then i would have been more informed.
very early minis are not my particular specialist area.

Fair enough, however, if I can suggest here, perhaps a topic title of 'Dreamer on Ebay' may not be the best foot forward in seeking info on something which you're not too sure on

I still think its not unreasonable to discuss for sale cars in the mini chat section.
