its.the.same.if.i.am.replying.to.private.messages.or.on.the.main.forum.

 

when.i.hit.return.it.makes.the.page.roll.to.the.bottom.

 

any.ideas?

possibly.i.really.am.not.tech.savy.at.all.i.cant.see.a.key.that.says.scroll.lock.on.it.but.i.did,wonder,if,i,pressed,something.by.mistake.or.the.cats.had.stepped.on.my.laptop

fixed for now I think! my mate had a look at my laptop and we think its sorted!!

There's a low fewer full stops so it's looking good

Mine does the same thing......I find I can go back and put a space in once I've stopped typing a line by using the mouse to position the cursor in between two words and hitting the space bar...I then have to move the cursor to each place where I want a space. Once that's done everything works normally. No scroll lock on my keyboard...I'm also on my laptop, not a phone or tablet.

 

So cradley-heathen, how did you fix yours?

ive since discovered that if I type a bit, hit return a few times, then move the cursor back to the beginning I can use the space bar again.

 

after I have done that it works fine again. I just typed this bit just fine.

 

the other thing I noticed is that if I type a huge body of text it doesn't automatically go onto the next line, it just tries to make a huge single line of text that I have to scroll left-right to view in its entirety
