The compressor you have will struggle to power the DA. I have a 4hp 200ltr compressor which i use for my airtools and spraying and even that still works hard but everything runs at nearly full chat.

I also have a 3hp 100ltr compressor that is borderline for airtools.

So tomorrow Im going to tackle the polishing!
One quick question Im hoping someone can help with, I was thinking that before I put the wheel arch trims back on it might be worth putting some rust protection on the edges of the wheel arches since they will be covered by the trims..
I have some Dynax s50 on the way so should I just spray a bit of that? Or I can put some normal car wax or grease under there???

Your Dynax will be fine to apply under the arches

Had a quick go on the bonnet with some compound and have got this sort of finish going on. Im guessing I need to keep compounding a little longer? Just worried about burning a hole in the paint!

Thank you for your advice! Dont get me wrong its not going to win any competitions but Im incredibly happy with how its come out, its gone from being a very dull chalk board to a nice soft shiney glaze.
Still room for some improvement but who cares.

For anyone interested I used meguiars ultimate compound and polish on a cheap amazon dual action polisher with a microfibre and foam pad.
