mates just bought mini spares fuel regulater and it's holding back when driving any ideas fitted ok or does it take computer a while went 10 minute spin

Is it adjustable Bob? If it is then it will need setting up, keeping an eye on the emissions

rob it's not adjustable it's the mini spares £120 one

The FSE one, I see it now. Have you had it set up? As they dont come pre set from factory and yes, they are adjustable.

It needs setting up. I have one on the Cooper S kit I have, and it needs to be set to 3bar i think?

 

Has he done any other mods? no point in a fuel regulator if the head hasn't been upgraded?

Remove the dome nut on top and therell be a flat bladed screw head. Loosen the nut and wind in or out. With these you ideally need a gauge or it rolling road tuned.

Good stuff. However it will still need to be set up properly as if its too lean it may cook the pistons/valves, too rich and youll induce bore wash and wreck the cylinders and pistons.
