I'm converting an HIF6 that came off an automatic Marina for use on my 1293 and the throttle plate appears to operate backwards and the throttle lever seems inappropriate with what is probably a kickdown lever added on as well. Does anyone know the part numbers (throttle lever and spring) of what I need to convert it for use on a Mini?

If the throttle spindle is rotating the wrong way then you'll need to remove the disk flip it over so the chamfered edge is the other way and put it back in

Thanks NZMini1275, that's got the lever sorted, but I can't find a source for the spring. Even the SU website doesn't seem to list it. You can't even select "Mini" as a model of Austin.

I have just rebuilt mine and used a hif44 kit and it had the springs for both ends

The rebuild kits at Mini Spares and Mini Sport don't include springs and they don't seem to list them separately either. I just looked at it again and there's more to sort out. The idle stop and choke high idle lever (and maybe the choke lever?) need replacement as well if the butterfly is going to reverse direction.
