Hi guys, after a 20 year gap, I am finally the proud owner of another mini, Y433MVW. Black with white stripes and a checkerboard roof, with lovely while wheels. It's rough at the moment, with quite a few issues, but it's a runner and looker for sure. I plan on spending an OBSCENE amount of money bring out the original beauty of such an early modern classic. First job is to get the damn thing selecting 1st gear without putting it into 3rd first! (A new one on me!) next is the MOT, then the real fun starts. I will be looking to return it to factory fresh apart from maybe the wheels, as they look too cool to change. I have a feeling a few of the regulars here will be sick of my name shortly. Welcome! and enjoy it.... but as general nosy sod I looked your car up....it's a "New Mini" - this forum (although there are plenty of owners of both "real" and BINI's on here is primarily populated by the classic mini owner. There's a specific bINI forum - mini2 I think that may be of far more help to you...
