Just need some conformation about the boot area,subframe and boot hinge specifically.

The boot area is one thickness of steel then were the boot hinge panel and rear valance meet its 3 thick??

Around the subframe mounts is it boot floor and a stiffened underneath then close out panels or does the close out panel have a plate as well making that 3 thick.

Mine's that corroded and patched I can't tell!!!!!

Yep, 3 thick

On the top should be the stiffener bracket that attaches to the boot floor and arch, then the boot floor, then a strengthener panel then the rear valance closers

At the very rear you have a 3 layer sandwich. From top to bottom it goes;

Rear Panel

Boot Floor

Rear Valance

I was wondering myself about the subframe mount areas.  I fitted a new heritage boot floor which came with a strengthening plate already welded to it. I believe you can buy the valance closing panel either with or without this strengthening panel attached, depending on whether you already have one or not. I stand to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable though.

Thanks for that. The bracket from arch to boot floor, does that have a plate on it or is it just shaped. I'm guessing plate making that area 3 thick around sub mount.

Sorry if repeating myself just need it clear in my head!!

I have to say i have fitted two Heritage boot floors and neither of them came with any reinforcement on the subframe mounts. The Heritage valance closeout is multiple layers.

Including the arch to floor bracket, aft rear subframe mounts are 4 layers thick in total.

Bad info on my part then. I bought mine through M-Machine so it must be something they add to the Heritage boot floors prior to dispatch. You can see them here.

Its a shaped piece with the 2 holes in for the subframes bolts to go through.

What thickness do people think the reinforcement plates should be made off, I have 1mm and 1.2mm, either seem suitable ??

Thanks
