Hi, I noticed that a hose to my distributor has been cut. Does anyone know where it should connect to, or what I may be loosing out on as a result? thank you

..should go to to vacuum take off on the carburettor - normally a thin plastic tube connects the two together (it's possible the 'cut' section of hose is being used as a fitting for the plastic tube)

..is that a bit of thin plastic tube at the bottom of the picture ?  or a bit of wiring ?

without it you'll be losing ignition timing advance when the engine is under load

you need a stiff plastic hose not a rubber hose as this will collapse under vacuum   https://www.holden.c...s&pCode=030.015

Pipe marked in red/pink ... where does this go as it could have pulled out. The other end should be on the inlet/carb.
