thanks pal,im going for a 60s look, but im not going 100% as ive far to many toys, and i know it can get pricey just the old style look is good enough for me, one thing ive defiantly gotta do is get shot of the nasty 12" wheels and convert to 10", this is a must for me

You can make your heater look earlier by taking the later lever off, welding up the hole in the faceplate and cutting a slot with teeth. Rivet a new lever to the internal baffle and I found a low profile toggle switch on ebay for the fan. Only thing missing is the 'ears'

Wow just seen this build i love it! Its exactly what i have planned for one of mine when i get the chance a full mk1 front and back conversion. Nice work, I am looking forward to seeing this done.

 

Where did you get your boot lid panel from, I have this mod to do to the Mrs's Mini soon?

Cheers pal, im loving it myself, be great to bomb about in it when its done, new front panel arrived today, seam sealed, stone chipped and top coated, ready to weld on the weekend

The boot in fill panel was off Ebay, take time to cut out the where the panel sits flat itll save you loads of time when you  butt weld and blend

Ive already removed  the bonnet lip ,

Welded wing on , a real cow to line up, as close as i can get it, with a skim of filler to get 100%

Still not decided on a colour, its between red, almond green, old english white, mean time a little filler primer threw on, nice to see the rusty floors/sills, gone ....
