I wanted to share a few quick pictures of my new baby!  Just arrived on my doorstep this morning, after a long month and a half of getting it ready and having it shipped from Japan.  Now the fun starts as far as getting it registered here in the states.  But here are a few quick photos of it as it looked this morning.  I will take some more photos later today after I get out of work.  I sold my last project, and this (I am planning on at least) is not going to be much of a project.  There are a few items I'd like to take care of, and I will share as they happen.  Thanks for checking it out!

As you can see she needs a wash, which I plan on doing later tonight.  I look forward to sharing more with all of you.  Thanks for checking it out.

Very nice.  I love those 'S' offset wheels!  Japanese imports always seem to be so nicely kept.

Whoo hoo that looks epic. Nice one, love JDM cars even better with a few tasteful mods. Im guessing with the age that its now a cinch to import stateside?

Nice!

Do the jap cars have full size rear lights (like mk4 onwards) but without the white reversing parts? Or are they just mk2/3 rear lights?

It will be registered as a 1991.  I just don't feel good going in and registering it as anything but what it is.  :proud:  Does it make it more of a pain...yes.  I have to pass emissions, where if I registered it as something 30+ years or older I could use vintage plates and it would be something like $20 a year to register it.  But I want it to be 100% legal.  ;D

Yes it's a Nardi wheel.  I think it looks fantastic too.  Thanks!

This has the MK3 rear lights, with a reverse light under the rear bumper.

A couple pics of her today.  Drove her to work so I can go and get the emissions done today and hopefully get my plates today.  I've got to figure out how to remove the antenna because I really don't like the look, but it had dropped down and was rubbing on my front passenger tire this morning making all sorts of horrendous noise.

I do have a question.  Is swapping to the inertia reel seat belts for the rear, really just a straight swap?  The original rear belts are a pain for my kids to adjust, that's why I'm debating on swapping them out.

Here is a prime example of why some people register there cars as something older!     Went to have my emissions test yesterday and I failed at idle.  So I need to do some work to get it to pass.  Input I've gotten so far.  Change oil, check plugs, filter, points, and timing.  Any other input from this awesome group?  Thanks!
