Was thinking of a change for my mamba alloys but I cant find any pics of them in a gold or dark bronze colour fitted to a mini on google. Don't suppose anyone has any pics, even better if they're the 13" variety?

I don't want the mini to be too much and I feel it's kind of borderline the now, so I don't want to go OTT.

Here's a pic of my mambas the now, all black so would get the whole rim powder coated instead of having a polished rim.

And this is how it looks the now

And then either of these colours

I've seen those force racing ones, would love getting them at some point but both those rims have polished lips and I was hoping to see a set actually fitted to a car. Gonna be annoyed if I pay to get them powdercoated and end up hating it when on the car.

Have a look at a project thread of mine, stinky, the clubby estate. I fitted a set of gold mambas to him

Cheers mate, that's more what I was looking for. Really not sure, might need to go with a boring colour.

I like the black too but I scuffed up one of the rims pretty bad when I lost control in the snow so I've ordered a new rim but it's coming with a polished lip so I need to do something to make them all matching.

Wouldn't mind getting the lot powder coated but don't want to spend the money to end up with the exact same looking wheels. Might consider a dark grey.

personally I think the black would look better with a polished rim, i think it looks a bit plain in solid black on that style of wheel.

however, I think a solid gold would look pretty cool. I think it would be quite more "bling" but I think it will give the car a real lift.

lips can be anodised in any colour. I think it was extra ~20 quid per wheel

I'm looking at getting 13x7 Mambas for my 1275GT project. Are the wheels good quality? Had any problems with them?

They've been fine mate, no idea on quality but they hold air fine and still look good apart from the scuff that I caused. Driven over a fair few pot holes as well and they haven't broken yet.
