Clarkson is the new 'who wants to be a millionaire ' host. Apparently.
I didn't even bother watching all of the last episode. Same old same old as far as I'm concerned.
I agree with cityepete, top gear is finding it's feet. Really enjoyed last weeks episode.
Does any one watch kindig/Bitchin rides, the nearest modern day thing to American hotrod. Imo

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the latest series of TGT.
Clarkson being signed up to another show means nothing, there's a lot of days in the year to be an insufferable git, I manage it for 365 days and I don't need editing

I think they've finally made it their own.

Clarkson seems to say otherwise.

I can't see Amazon ditching one of their most popular original series to be honest, you can be sure Netflix would jump right in there if they did.
If the story came from a rag like the Daily Mail I wouldn't trust its honesty.

Whats probably happening is that Amazon are negotiating with them about the next few series and they have mentioned not renewing as a bargaining chip to prevent Clarkson and co from demanding too much of a pay increase.

I know it can be polarising and I do go for long spells without seeing them, but I do genuinely like the show, however, there is only so much they can do and think up to keep it 'fresh' and in all reality, it's the same stuff regurgitated over with different toppings.
None the less, it rarely fails to bring a laugh to me, but I think you can OD on it if you wanted it often.
I recall thinking to myself after seeing the 3 of them in Top Gear after the first season that I managed to catch (which was likely well down the track) that I never wanted the series to end and that one day it will and how disappointed I'd be.
I still feel more or less the same, but I will underline that it would be easy to OD on them and get sick of it without probably realising.

Think it came from more than one paper
Not it all came from the Mail, other papers just quoted them.
The Mail hate JC anyway so will take any chance to take a swipe at him.
Unsurprisingly the media have now started to backtrack.
Rumours that Jeremy Clarkson’s show The Grand Tour is being canned after three series may have been blown out of proportion
