Starter Motor And Altenator

Is the Starter and Altenator from a 998cc the same as 1275 cc or are they bigger for the 1275?

Aslong as it's both pre engaged or both inertia starters they can be used on both engine sizes.

Alternator will also work on either engine, you want to make sure you have enough amps to power the electrical items and charge the battery

Thanks, just wanted to make sure there wasnt a difference in cranking power

With a 1275 it's worth fitting the largest battery which fits in the battery box, this helps when starting particularly in cold weather.
