when getting round to selling the mini might be able to raise enough to buy a Nurburgring vxr anyone driven one about 9000 to buy

I think you might mean the Nurburgring Corsa. You're now showing your age, Nuremberg was where the WWII war trials were held.

Is it a little hot hatch specifically you are after? 9k can buy a lot of nice cars indeed.

Love the fact you are 70 and still want to bob around in a hot hatch! But yeah for 9k, definitely a lot of decent cars around. You could get an Alfa Mito or Giulietta Cloverleaf. The Golf GTi is probably a fair bet. The Astra VXR Nurburgring as well. Sweat Leon Cupra. Loads of options.

My 9k would buy me a bmw 130i or a Alfa brera v6. Got a thing for small cars with big nasp engines golf r32 also but I find vws boring.

if I can reach 8 or 9000 grand when sell mini think it's going to be fiesta st or nuringbring vxr both fit in garage with bit room at the front. like to realy keep mini but to many aches and pains

Seriously though I'd have another Clubman in a flash, a quick high spec one in a nice colour will be a future classic.

Not the Burg edition but I had a normal model in Arden Blue when I was 18/19, but I was getting a bit bored of beans on toast every day just so I could afford a decent car lol. Was awesome though! go for it I say!

The Nurburgring Corsa is supposedly pretty good, big improvement over the normal VXR.
