Hi all!
Very new to this forum (just created the account)
I'm looking to join club of classic mini owners....
I'm thinking a 90's model,definitely manual and probably a 1.3L.
I've got the knowledge to be able to do the basic spannering but no interest in getting involved with body / structural work so want something rott / rust free. I do want to have the opportunity to add value and make it my own so not interested in anything 'finished'
Any hints and tips on what to look out for when I'm off out eyeing up these glorious little cars?
Cheers,
Jon

hi jon and welcome
have a look thru projects/topics on here and you will soon see where all the rot spots are ,
i think your budget is gonna dictate the amount of rust you will need to deal with )

Just look for rust, the mechanical side can be sorted given time and patience. The bodywork could quite easily end up costing thousands if you can't do it yourself. You need to take someone with you who understands classic Mini's if you go to buy one.
